UNIVERSAL WORKS

Universal Works is a contemporary menswear brand founded in 2009 by David Keyte. The brand's goal is to create honest, well-cut, and thoughtfully designed clothing without overdoing it. Inspired by his childhood in a working-class Midlands town, David was influenced by workwear, as well as 1980s sports and music culture. After a career in fashion, including at Paul Smith and Maharishi, he founded Universal Works, which blends heritage with a modern aesthetic. The brand prioritizes small-scale production and works with trusted factories in the UK and abroad. Today, Universal Works can be found in cities from Los Angeles to Seoul, with several stores in London and Nottingham, and another in Berlin.
